Big winners this week were Keith and Lara both with 10 points! Although, Lara did get a confirmed six pack to make her week a little more impressive. Back again for another round of co-ed doubles outdoors in sunny Victoria, BC! We have a new and improved format and some additions to the line-up. Tentatively, we are back to playing Thursday nights at Horner Park and we may start in a week or two. Lara is also working on getting kid-sitting-services for those who need them. The summer is at an end along with the hard fought battles on the grass (for this year anyway). The sun latest long enough for the finals to reach a 21-14 result in a game that was point-for-point until 10, when the winners slowly pulled away with the lead. This Wednesday is the scheduled date for the finals. The Keith/Megan and Mona/Tom teams are showing up early to start at 6:30pm. The others can show later at 7pm. Week 3! Again this week Dave Nelson sub'd in. This time for Tom as he was sick (what a wimp -- suck it up!). Dave & Mona pulled out a well fought 2nd place finish, keeping Keith & Megan's run of points at bay for a 25-22 win.
