Getting to Know You Night!

Our first night for the third year of SOV and we again had great weather and a fun time! With a total of 7 teams this year, we should have some hilarious stories by the end. I've let this night be a freebee, a warm-up of sorts, to allow us to shake that rust off. Next week we should have all teams out, so we can use Jason's new net that he's been dying to setup.

For those who forget, pls bring $15 next week. Or sign up for the $2 per week payment plan. It's hard to keep the lights on when we cannot collect the fees.

We're starting again!

Let's get this party started! Our first Wednesday is coming fast - June 29th - next week! We have some decent competition this year for a little bit of money, but really isn't it all about the friendships? Ya, I guess for most of you its a few hours away from the kids! Regardless of your reasons, the ball is in motion and we'll see you all out there!

Hopefully its sunny for our first day!

Like Nortel, we adjusted our earnings!

Due to the Enron-styled accounting practices and the keen eyes of an independant auditing team, there has been a discrepancy found! We should have went IPO before and made our money from the share price! Unfortunately, the Board of Directors has asked me to retract previous earnings from playmates and reissue the real books. So, what does this all mean in English? Simply put, we're back to a $30/$15 split.

Money, money, money, money!

No one said there would be math involved!! You're probably all waiting for that game we all know and love, "Gimme my damn money!"



Now, here's the situation. I've collected $250 but with a $35/$20 split for first and second place finishers, we're left with $30. So, I'd like to propose that the $30 extra dollars be put towards our Temptation Island Social event of the year! Rad & Nic are going to be back soon, plus our wedding will be done in a week and a bit... That can buy a good number of chick-pops!
